When I tried to stow the left seat back, the handle wouldn’t release the latches from the floor. The right seat works perfectly fine, but for some reason, the left one is stuck. I’m not sure if I’m missing a step or if something’s wrong with the mechanism. Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it? I really don’t want to take it to the dealership after just a few days of having it

Sometimes these seat mechanisms can are a bit finicky. You could try to rock the seat back and forth gently while pulling the release handle. Sometimes latches just need a little help to release. If that doesn’t work, it could be a small alignment issue, maybe try adjusting the seat back a bit to see if it lines up better with the latch. Maybe get to a detailing shop, they can usually disassemble stuff to diagnose these things. Maybe something's blocking a switch or latch?

It could be that the latch mechanism on the left seat is stuck or misaligned. You can try gently pressing or lifting the seat while pulling the handle, it might release. If that doesn’t work, double-check for any obstructions before heading to the dealership.

Thanks for the tips...I’ll try rocking the seat and adjusting it before considering any further steps.

Do you think there’s a specific area where the latch might be more likely to get misaligned or stuck?
