I'm a bit confused about the weather updates on my Kia's dynamic cluster. It used to work flawlessly, but now it's showing "weather information unavailable." I've tried googling and checked the owner’s manual on this issue, and some say it's tied to Kia Connect, while others point to the HD radio signal.
I had a complimentary Kia Connect subscription that expired, and the weather updates seemed to work after that. This makes me lean towards the HD radio theory, but I'm not entirely sure.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or knows what's causing it?

I’d say start by making sure your infotainment system has the latest update. Keeping it updated is super important to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Sometimes the weather updates can get stuck due to a glitch in the infotainment system. I’d recommend trying a soft reset of your system. If you haven’t done it before, just hold the power button on your infotainment screen until it reboots. This fixed a similar issue on my car, and the updates started working again. If that doesn’t do the trick, it might be worth confirming if your Kia Connect subscription or HD radio settings are the root cause.
