New to the forum and also a proud new owner of a certified 2022 Carnival SXP. But I’ve run into a puzzling issue with the 115V outlets. Hoping someone here has some insights!
Both outlets are showing a solid red light, which I assume means they’re powered, but they aren’t actually delivering any electricity to the devices I’m plugging in. I’m starting to feel like there’s some sort of hidden protective mechanism I’m missing. The manual only mentions the standard hinged cover, but when I look at the outlets, they seem recessed quite a bit, and nothing I plug in makes proper contact.
I’ve double-checked with multiple devices to make sure it’s not just a faulty charger or plug, but no luck. Is there a trick to making these outlets work properly, or is it possible they need to be reset or activated in some way?
We’re about to head out on a 24-hour round trip to the beach with five kids (all under 13!), and I was really counting on those outlets to keep devices charged and everyone entertained. Any advice or quick fixes would be amazing!
